Our Story
Butterfly began when Mark faced redundancy after many years in lettings. Instead of seeing it as an end, we turned it into a new beginning and launched our own family business.
With Becky’s 15 years of sales experience and Mark’s 20 years in both sales and lettings, we set out to build an agency that put people first. Our first year was a great success, built on word of mouth, strong relationships, and a reputation for honesty and care.
Now, with solid foundations in lettings, the natural next step is to bring sales under the Butterfly name. We’re proud to be offering both services side by side, giving our clients one trusted team for every stage of their property journey.

Becky grew up just outside Diss and has over 15 years of experience in the property industry. She began her career in 2010 with Hammond & Stratford (formerly hammondlee) in Attleborough, where she worked her way up to Branch Partner. During her time there, she helped transform the office into the town’s leading agency, gaining a wealth of experience in both sales and customer care.
In 2024, Becky and her partner Mark launched Butterfly Lettings, a family-run business built on honesty and personal service. After a successful first year, they expanded in 2025 to bring sales under the Butterfly name, creating Butterfly Homes. Becky now leads the sales side of the business, offering clear, straightforward advice and guiding clients confidently through the moving process. She also uses her expertise to support landlords looking to grow or refine their property investments.
Becky lives near Hingham with Mark and their three-year-old son, Archie. She loves being outside and, while property is her passion, being a mum is what she loves most (though she wouldn’t say no to a bit more sleep!). When she gets the chance, you’ll often find her in the garden or out exploring Norfolk’s countryside and coast with her family.

Mark grew up in Dereham and has over 17 years of experience in the estate agency industry. He began his career in 2007 with Hammond & Stratford (formerly hammondlee), a small independent agency in his hometown, where he built strong foundations in both sales and lettings. As the company grew, Mark took on a variety of roles, but in 2018 he found his true passion when he moved into lettings full time, managing Dragonfly Lettings. Under his leadership, the lettings business grew into a highly respected and recommended agency.
In 2024, Dragonfly Lettings was acquired by another company, which opened the door for a new chapter. Mark and his partner Becky launched Butterfly Lettings, combining their experience to create a family-run business focused on honesty, care, and personal service. After a successful first year, they expanded in 2025 to bring sales into the fold, creating Butterfly Homes.
Mark now continues to lead the lettings side of the business, working closely with landlords and tenants to provide clear advice, reliable management, and a service that’s both professional and personal. He is also a proud member of ARLA Propertymark, demonstrating his commitment to high standards and compliance.
Outside of work, Mark lives in Hingham with Becky and their three-year-old son, Archie. Family time comes first, but when he gets a spare moment you’ll find him fishing, watching Formula 1, or following the football.
