We’re Mark and Becky, the people behind Butterfly Homes. With over 35 years of combined experience in estate agency, we created Butterfly to offer the kind of service we believe people should expect. Personal, straightforward and with people who genuinely care about getting things right.
Based in the heart of Eaton, directly opposite Waitrose, we’re an independent, family-run estate agency specialising in both sales and lettings across Norfolk. We’ve deliberately kept Butterfly personal. We take the time to get to know our clients, their properties and what they actually want to achieve, rather than treating every instruction or enquiry in exactly the same way.
Whether we’re marketing your home, managing your investment property, helping you find somewhere to buy or guiding you through a new tenancy, we don’t believe in doing the bare minimum. We put care into the details, keep everyone properly informed and believe good service is just as much about what happens after you instruct us as it is about making a great first impression.

Butterfly began when Mark faced redundancy after many years working in the property industry. Rather than seeing it as an end, we saw an opportunity to do things differently and created Butterfly.
With Becky bringing 15 years of sales experience and Mark 20 years across both sales and lettings, we had plenty of industry experience between us, but starting our own agency was completely new. Butterfly was built around a simple idea: put people first and provide the level of service we would expect ourselves.
Our first year exceeded our expectations, with the business growing largely through recommendations, word of mouth and the trust of local landlords and tenants. It gave us strong foundations in lettings and, as Butterfly continued to grow, expanding into residential sales felt like the natural next step.
Today, Butterfly Homes brings sales and lettings together under one roof, but we’re still the same business at heart. We’re proud of how far Butterfly has come and, as we continue to grow, the things that got us here remain just as important: being approachable, knowing our clients by name and genuinely caring about the job we do.
