Our Story
Butterfly began when Mark faced redundancy after many years in lettings. Instead of seeing it as an end, we turned it into a new beginning and launched our own family business.
With Becky’s 15 years of sales experience and Mark’s 20 years in both sales and lettings, we set out to build an agency that put people first. Our first year was a great success, built on word of mouth, strong relationships, and a reputation for honesty and care.
Now, with solid foundations in lettings, the natural next step is to bring sales under the Butterfly name. We’re proud to be offering both services side by side, giving our clients one trusted team for every stage of their property journey.

Becky grew up just outside Diss and has over 15 years of experience in the property industry. She began her career in 2010 with Hammond & Stratford (formerly hammondlee) in Attleborough, where she worked her way up to Branch Partner. During her time there, she helped transform the office into the town’s leading agency, gaining a wealth of experience in both sales and customer care.
In 2024, Becky and her partner Mark launched Butterfly Lettings, a family-run business built on honesty and personal service. After a successful first year, they expanded in 2025 to bring sales under the Butterfly name, creating Butterfly Homes. Becky now leads the sales side of the business, offering clear, straightforward advice and guiding clients confidently through the moving process. She also uses her expertise to support landlords looking to grow or refine their property investments.
Becky lives near Hingham with Mark and their three-year-old son, Archie. She loves being outside and, while property is her passion, being a mum is what she loves most (though she wouldn’t say no to a bit more sleep!). When she gets the chance, you’ll often find her in the garden or out exploring Norfolk’s countryside and coast with her family.

Mark grew up in Dereham and has over 20 years of experience in the Norfolk property industry. He began his career in 2007 with Hammond & Stratford (formerly hammondlee), gaining experience across both sales and lettings.
Mark later took responsibility for the day-to-day running of Dragonfly Lettings, which he managed for almost a decade. Under his leadership, the business grew substantially and became one of Norfolk’s leading independent letting agents, building an excellent reputation amongst landlords and tenants.
Following the sale of Dragonfly Lettings in 2024, Mark and his partner Becky launched Butterfly Lettings, creating an independent, family-run agency built around personal service, experience and a hands-on approach. Following a successful first year, the business expanded into residential sales in 2025 to become Butterfly Homes.
Today, Mark leads the lettings side of the business and is a member of ARLA Propertymark, working closely with landlords and tenants across Norwich and Norfolk.
Outside of work, Mark lives in Hingham with Becky and their son, Archie. When he gets a spare moment, you’ll usually find him fishing, watching Formula 1 or following the football.
